That works some , too but they're more cloudlike if you use low opacity and flow and the eraser

Nice one Sparky! Take notes from these folks on the tools... and try to study up some on Wiki..! Your work is wonderful, investing a little study time is well worth it, I promise!

Hi "davincipoppalaq"...I thank you again for your comment, and advice. I had so much trouble trying to make the clouds look like clouds, and I'm not really satisfied with the way this picture turned out. I greatly appreciate your advice on how to make the clouds look more cloudlike.....I don't understand how to use the "layers"....you were saying "to open up a new layer"....I don't know how to do that. Also...I never used the "flow" tool yet.....I use the "opacity" tool, but I haven't tried the "flow" tool yet. I think I tend to "overuse" the "blur" tool.....and I might've overused the "sharpen" tool on this picture.....I was just "sharpening" everything!!...."LOL"!! Again...I thank you for your advice....I really need all the help I can get...to try to learn how to use these "tools"!! I'll probably be in the "beginner's category" forever!!!! "LOL"!!

Prince R. Nelson in weird bright colors. I love him almost as much as I love solids.
My cousin went on MSN for the last time before she's travelling around Europe, so I chatted with her instead of drawing for about 20 minutes. I WANNA TRAVEL TOO ;_; I've never even been outside Scandinavia.

His face is fugly and nothing close to the dancer in the ref. *sigh* Well I had enough of it. Maybe I'll get back to it one day..... and also fix those pants. WTF? I thought I colored them solid black?

you know, i was planning on doing a realistic like full fledged portrait of my baby ringo, but i was coloring in the base color and it left those off whites right on the eyes and around there, and it just looked kinda cool so i stopped.

anyways starting off the new quarter with some portraits and such.

p.s. you can move this to beginner if youde like, i know the time is way under 30

This horse is just soooo "awesome"....I wish he were mine!! He looks sooo "spirited"......and I love his color....and his name (Red Wind) certainly "fits him"!! Ohhhh...I want this horse!!! "LOL"!!

Thanks QT ... I have a few details to rework on this ... and yes patience is something I have learned, it saves me time and money in the long run, some things that look nice or seem nice don't always translate to "wow" compositions for painting.

Hi Aakyra!! This is "sparky" from sketchfu.....I am so glad I finally found you. I was just looking through your gallery....and I can't believe my eyes!! Your artwork is more amazing than ever....I just have to keep looking at these horses....this Arabian looks sooo real...I can almost "reach out" and pat him!!
