I fell asleep in my armchair watching tv.I've been waiting all day to have a conversation... then in my absence theres all this activity.I used to come here to show off my drawing skills ... but now i come here not so much to show off my drawing skills but to have interesting conversations like these and contemplate life.

This is really an interesting draw......I really like your loose and bold style. I wish I could learn how to draw like this...I think one of my biggest problems is that I concentrate too much on trying to make everything look perfect, and I don't concentrate on the contrasts of color and lights and darks.....how to get things blended and shaded right....that's why I know that I'm not an artist yet.....I still need to learn a lot. I wish I could just "go with the flow", and not concentrate so much. Anyways ...I read what you wrote here axil, and it really makes sense what you said......maybe I can learn a little from it.

I am not sure I enjoyed BMW and Axil's bantor or this draw more. Even having been mia for quite a while, I knew that this extreme perspective would be yours Axil. Your draws are always so interesting to look at, not only for the skill you exude but the pleasing picture you create. Thanks for lighting my day again with your art.

I just felt like doing one more "fireworks" draw. This pretty much looks like my city, that's why I titled it "Fireworks over Pittsburgh"....."LOL"!! I'm "posting" this as "finished"......I don't know what else I can add to it.....I think it looks ok as it is. :)

looks cool but now i see that something is missing..maybe some stars?...dunno but it would amplify the sky or i am just to hungy at this hour.lol^^...anyway love it just the way it is and goos work with Pittsburg and all*.*

Hi "xsi639".......Thanks for commenting on my "Pittsburgh" draw......I'm glad you like it. There are a few little stars in the sky.....maybe you can't see them on your computer. I didn't want to put too many stars.....it would look "cluttered" I think. :)

changed the hair, now her bangs are in her face, i thought it made her look more distraught and the proportions of her face fit better

I think whats wrong with the face is the space between the mouth and the chin, it looks kinda tiny. maybe if it came out farther to the left and was less small it might look better, but otherwise, this is great!!

oh this is beautiful!! the poem is great too, i actually sang a song with those words for as a solo a few years ago, my first thought when i saw this was that you had heard the song, it adds another level of meaning to the words as only music can. but this is an absolutely gorgeous painting and i hope you do more landscapes soon :)
