It was hard to find the right shade of blue i'll think i'll try harder to find next revision.

This is my first serious piece here on 2draw.net. If anyone has any tips or tricks they would like to share with me, they would be most appreciated, and of course, feel free to critisize this piece, but please, hlep me improve.

This is a good start, but more time could be spent. The use of layers could be helpful in getting rid of sketch lines.
More line variation would add interest, as would more content. Look at a few tutorials, put some more time in.

a stem of a plant... not sure what kind of plant just yet... roses have become sort of cliche so I'm not sure if thats a good road to go down... any comments or advice is welcome because I can use all the advice I can get at this point....
