A general idea/ rough draft for a new idea- Hawaii embodied. I'm going to use the same girl, just the full body veiw. This is a girl named Minna, and I tried to get her to portray a bit of 'innocence'.

To improve it, I think maybe you could make the head a bit longer. Her eyes are very close to the top of her head and there isn't much in the way of hair above her eyes either. If that makes sense. ^_^

Well, since you asked for it...
You're missing the forehead and the shape of the head is off. >_> Well, not completely off. Try looking at some photos of people or look up an anatomy site to help you with drawing the head and body. The eyes need improvement too; they're freaky-big, man. XD Eyes are more almond or oval shaped, and they're not just one big circle. Do you see the big black spots you've drawn in the eyes? Those are the pupils, and they really shouldn't be so big. If you're trying to go anime style, the eyes are bigger and more stylized than normal, but keep the pupil as a small, visible dot. The hair...is alright. It's probably the lack of the forehead that makes it look odd. It'd be best if you tried to put a little more detail, like highlights (not the type you get at a salon, but the shine that comes from light) in the hair like kristine said.

One last thing: she's deathly pale. Unless you wanted her like that, you should color in the skin.

This is a quick doodle for my lovely friend, Rosie.

This is the 'pet' Anubis that I drew in her homework diary today. XD We went through many changes because I'm very stressed today and, for some reason, I just couldn't settle on a look. But now he's finished. -^___^-

Ignore the timer, because, all together, it only took about half an hour.

I'm sorry that it isn't up to the standard that I usually set myself.. I'm ill... An ex-good friend of mine (not Rosie obviously. I wouldn't draw a picture for a ex-friend. XD) just wrote in her journal 'I realized something a few days ago. Denize is going to die soon. And I'm strangely unupset by that. Shocked, though.' I have no idea why and... no, I wasn't planning on dying any time soon. I'm just ill because of insomnia and pain from my operations and reading that... just makes me want to cry again. I don't know... *hugs everyone here*

For the record, I say 'ex-good friend' because she suddenly forgot me one day when she got a boyfriend. Not that I care; she was a bitch. But...... I don't want to think about dying. I've nearly died too many times before.

I think your 'Ex Friend' doesn't deserve any of your time or thoughts. Obviously Rosey is a better friend to you and this is a lovely way to say thanks to her with this.. I hope you feel much better soon :D
