Alliteration (Apr 24, 2006)
Well I felt like drawing a cat.. Hes loosely based of Church from Pet Semetary.. The cat Is standing on a Spiral Rather than a Rug. And, correct me if I wrong. The Infinite Spiral was supposed to represent the unknown and the chaotic.. I ran out of things to do and Im not totally sure how to use this applet. Sugestions on coloring greatly appreciated...

Note: And If you dont!! I will Attack you with My Evil Poetry Singing Brussel Sprites!!!

Death has taken on the form of a house cat.

Some tips (pleasedon'thurtme .__.) Solid lineart looks better than sketchy. Using the pen tool is good for this. Not to mention, pen tool is better than airbrush when it comes to coloring ^__^
I like his eyes much 'D' And the way the symbol on his head looks like it's glowing :D

This got my complete attention (which is difficult to do lately) and I find it really creative, colorful and amusing. :)

Antonio was sooooooo sexy as Zoro. Watched the show too. Just wondering who Simon is.
SYTHE (May 12, 2006)
Is it Simon Cowell? "Did you really believe you could become the American Idol? Well, then, you're deaf."
Klibese (Jun 23, 2006)
Nah, it's a character I tend to enjoy drawing with the unfortunate last name of Puttyfoot, but somehow the thought of Cowell as Zorro is vastly amusing.

I really like this so far. The texture on the foliage is great.

Thanks so much sweetcell! You've been really helpful while I've been here. I'll be sure to keep all your tips in mind. I agree on basically everything you say, I sort of thought the hat looks a bit too much like a papper bag, the trees and plants were a bit off and also the shading makes them look...plastic. I'll try adding shadows and keeping the light focused on one area instead of all over the place. Thanks once again for your tips, they are very helpful and encouraging ;D!
Sweetcell (May 12, 2006)
Ahh, your welcome keik. Just think of this place as art school, as you progress the teachers help you by giving advice. Some people do take it a little seriously (there are some who can be harsh in their cristicism) but it's all to help you grow, learn. An artist is always learning. You've come a long way. I'm glad to be of help. *smoochies* cause they're better than *hugs*
keikai (May 13, 2006)
I really don't think there is such a thing as harsh criticism, it's more like some people think certain things should be a certain way and just give more information on how they feel. Either way I'm fine with it. And I've only come a short way, I have a long way to go but thanks to you guys one 2draw (especially you sweetcell) that I've been able to get to this point.
