I'd say yes. In the future make the rose smaller, nearer the bottom, or to set of the size put the tree farther back. But you did good on the tree, and the rose stands out better. The stem is still a little thick but much much improved. I hope your grandma liked it.

It could defiantly (sp??) use some work with the colouring. Of course, this is supposed to be a childish sketch, so, I'd say good job *thumbs up*. I like the description quite a lot. You always have done well at dialouge.

Perhaps a mutation of a parrot and a tiger. It's fine, maybe put the eye farther back instead of right on the forehead, shade them and the beak, some highlights as well and shadows where the black feathers (fur) are, and erase the color that bled out of the lines and it'll be fine.

This is my imaginary character, THE NINJA FRY!!! His mother was killed by the deep frier, and he never knew his father. I know he should be more than basic yellow, but this is just my first sketch. T_T
