First time in 3 years that I have drawn on an Oekaki. I am a tad rusty... didn't feel like making anything elaborate. Just doodled. I have to clean up my room, it is feeling really cramped in here.

and I dressed, carved, and painted him
like this... though he doesn't have a gun

those things are good to have, if ever you need an action pose, that's what they're there for, hope you use it. But why would you color it?

Oh, interesting pic btw, he'd make for a unique character. An enemey of your fox perhaps.

I play animal crossing too ^.^ I have blank days...I'm having a blank day...err week anyway. As for the tablet, my wacom was about 200, I think. The wacoms range from $100 to way way much money. o.o There's also a Deleter one....somewhere anyway. I don't know the prices for it though. I got my first tablet off ebay and it was some weird little brand that had died before I got it. It was 15$$.... Hope that helps!

^_^ Oekaki is so much fun. I spend less and less time on each picture every time I start one. I hope that's a good sign.
This attempt in particular came out as, well, not what I was shooting for. Really, I started out just wanting to improve my linearts. Used the bezier tool. It was SO like cheating! XDDD And modifying the thickness in some places. Maybe not properly, but it's a start. Than, I tried using opacity to create highlights, and it has become quite apparent to me that coloring is not my best... ah, skill. The shading looks pretty off, too, but I lack the capacity to comprehend such things as depth perception. Or whatever it is that make shadows... shadows. ^^U Don't get me started on backgrounds. Still! All in all, I think it's nifty.
