Ok, this is harder than I thought. I played and played with this and could not get it to look right. Sorry FC....but this is what I tried....smudging, using different opacities and different colours for the textures and no texturing paints. Maybe I am full of it....couldn't get it to look right. Go with your gut FC....

"Wow"! This looks awesome! I love how you smudged all the colors. I can see how you used different colors and different opacities, and smudged them. Thanks for demonstrating how to do this. I will try experimenting....using this technique. I'm gonna try it on the sails of my pirate picture....I already did smudge them a wee bit....but your technique of smudging looks way better than mine......"LOL"! I'm too tired to work on it now.....but I'm gonna try experimenting later. THANKS "Gillie"....I really appreciate your help!! :) |

Ok, I wanted to make it look a bit better before I begged for help. What I really was hoping, even though I'm a beginner artist, is that someone could help me with hair. I've been trying to make blond hair on this for what feels like hours and I can't do it. I'll keep trying, but if anyone feels motivated to help me feel free to ask. If you do you can also change anything else about it that you want, but this is getting frustrating for me and I don't like that T_T...

very nicely done Tony. I like that you are starting to use more colour and/or filling in more spaces of the canvas. This has a great reflection. I can always tell when it is one of your pics from the thumb....that is great to have a style....I am probabally a little too eclectic...no particular style is throughout my pics, I don't think, except possibly saturated colour. Keep up the good work Tony.
