I'm aware that it's kinda messy and uneven, but I got tired. I hate the mouse.. Tesia wants a tablet.. Bleh. Anyways, I'm being Meiling-chan for a cosplay my friends and I are doing for AN 2003. This is a bad attempt at a picture of it.

This is what happens when I decide that, in one go, I'm gonna learn how to shade. I think it was fairly successful.

Hey not bad. Here are other shading/lighting styles. Paint bbs, Use watercolors darker lighter colors, or use the light-dark button. For oekaki, Use colors and gradualy make the color darker and blur the color to get shading, for reference look at my pic after this one, These are just sugestions, and im probably being confuzing so ill shut up no. =)

actually it was fairly sucessful. And to add to what knockoff said, there's a dodge and burn tool in oekaki too, which helps alot. And on the sliders of red green and blue, if you lower or raise each number by the same amount, them it will create the exact same colour either darker or lighter, which is perfect for shading.

Anyone else had fraaky dreams that contain material that I could add to this?
