These look really waxy, actually, a few creases and 'wrinkles' like on real lips would work. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.
Also,I'm not sure if this is true with everyone, but the bottom lip is usually fuller than the top ^^;

Nice shapes though, and the smiling one is really well done.

Welcome. Read the rules. And about the tips, practice, practice, practice and of course, TRY. You could also watch a couple of animations and repeat what you see. But of course don't copy the artist's drawing, because that's plagerism.
