A little too blurry, but other than that, its pretty good. :)
hideyourface (Dec 12, 2005)
I usually see people shad with circles and it looks dumb, but these look like they're light around the rim and look cool. You should experiment with them some more. The redish brown, almost purple in that shirt looks real cool. |

I agree kejoco, the Jim Carey Grinch was very disappointing to me, as well as the cat in the hat movie, which I actually walked out on.
davincipoppalag (Dec 12, 2005)
Yea..Carey was born to play the Grinch, but, as usual, he overdid the part and ruined it. The orignal cartoon with Boris Karloff's narration was the best.. Max is the best...
kristine (Dec 12, 2005)
i lov the cartoon version i watch it every year ^^ along with A Christmas Story, but anywho. this is so cute, max is adorable :P
Punky (Dec 12, 2005)
davincipoppalag: Took the words right out of my mouth. Carey way overdid his acting, although I guess he at least looked the part. The cartoon movie owns. :9Anyways, I really like the colors, especially the background. Nice expression too, he looks so goofy. :) |

Sasuke-fan-Sapphire (Nov 25, 2005)

Zeal (Nov 26, 2005)
blue uns!bleh. i actually tried to make a background and the results are terrifyingly bad. -sigh- oh well.
Sasuke-fan-Sapphire (Dec 12, 2005)

The skin tones look a little weird in this :/ Try looking at a picture of a person and compare the shades. |

Has some imspiration from Robert Frost's "Fire and Ice" as well.
xiau (Dec 11, 2005)
So if I went and complimented something of someone's, then they aren't allowed to critisize me even if what I draw is crap?...good to know...
R. (Dec 12, 2005)
Evocative blend of colours. Do you happen to have Jackson Pollock's phone number? He really needs to sharpen up his linework. (And if I said you had an intermediate body, would you hold it against me?)
bjorkChild (Dec 12, 2005)
in reply to xiau, no, that's not what I am saying. What i am saying is please be constructive, and not just say that what I drew isn't "good enough quality". I would like to know WHY they don't think it is. Just saying that it's crap isn't helpful to anyone.
nekodesu (Dec 12, 2005)
"The main intermediate board intended for users who have mastered the basic skills of drawing and are somewhat familiar with the drawing applets."The reason I think this isn't intermediate is because of the constant use of burn, dodge, and blur tools. They shouldn't be used too much since the drawings tend to come out...well, beginner looking. Of course some drawing consisting of a lot of those tools might look decent but sorry to say yours does not. It looked like you had something at the beginning but you kind of ruined it by scribbling colors and the dodge tool all over it. |
