I like the earthy colors in this, especially the background. Seeing as omfg has yet to say something constructive/worthwhile reading, just ignore him if he happens to be irritating you. :) They're just being hypocritical about this whole "you no put no effort" thing they seem to have such a big problem with.

NewTails: It says which applet the artist used either under the picture or in the "details" section when you click on the picture. For this picture, they used Oekaki Shi-Painter.

I tried to make it look shiny, but everytime i did, it looked retarded. Any tips on making something shiny?Well it looks kinda weird to me, but in a way i kinda see it.

I think you got shiny. Now you need to smooth the sole lines and the edges of the shoe, and ya got sumpin

lookd great, but if the shoe is leather meake the edges of the shine sharperOk, I sharpened the shine and I fixed up the black on the bottom.

Okay, I know, this looks kinda bafd. My tablet got effed up and I did this by mouse. I realise now that there are flaws in the lineart and in the shading. I'm not perfect, and I kept losing focus on my light source. So to prevent me from further messing this up, I'm saving this as unfinished and hopefully, will get back to this another day. I prefer no criticism, kthx.

Thanks, squee! I realize this omfg person's a stupid troll who's desperate for attention, ne?He may be adorable now, but in other works I have of him (on my deviantart) he's my gloom/macabre character. XD if only I could draw him from the torso down.

Heh, once my home comp is up and running, I'll be finishing up the other work of him. =DAaah. Much better. I like BGs, even though I neglect them OH SO OFTEN. Well, fixed some shading, highlighted more and OBVIOUSLY added a BG. It's not too great, but I like it. =D
The text effect wasn't really desired, but hey, I like it. |
