Mikey is the most lighthearted of the 4 turtles.He is an impressionist, practical joker and class clown, as well as a major league pop-culture sponge. Mikey loves to be the center of attention, almost as much as he loves to make everybody laugh. He loves slingin’ slang and making up new words, and has been accused of being a bit of a showoff, although he’s really more of a showman. Mikey loves music and has taught himself to play guitar in spite of only having three, stubby fingers. An avid comic book reader, he often writes and draws he’s own stories. Despite their opposite natures - or perhaps because of them - Raph is Mikey’s best buddy and sparring partner. To compliment his flashy, show-stopping style, Splinter selected the nunchaku as the weapon best suited to Mikey’s spirit. Of all the turtles, Mikey is the most natural athlete. His innate physical prowess makes up for his less than eager interest in long, hard training sessions. Splinter sees this, so he constantly tries to push Mikey forward and get him to focus.
