Um... ok so I was doing something else and it wasn't good so I started to just experiment with the tools, desaturate, luminosity all those cool cats and the mountain I drew looked better below it looked funky so I fiddled, liked some, hated others and played and played and... ya, so... here we are.

simple and cute. i wonder how you got the clouds' effect. looks like the cards we used to always make, by tearing little sheets. (i'd love to know how to draw a torn paper)

Shults, that was pure accident. I was fiddling like I said and colored the clouds as normal, soft airbrush, mountains just again soft airbrush, low opacity erasure to get a softer look, then I began trying desaturate, luminosity, color and suddenly the mountains popped, the clouds looked more misty, and I was getting interesting shapes and forms below the mountains (used green) and began to fiddle. This was all trial, error and accident. Desaturate and luminosity were one of the tools that got that effect but I can't remember which. Alls I can say is "experiment."Oh thank you Donna and Dave. this is a n00b pic... i first drew a sucky line and decided to draw my school wide famous dogs... yeah i suck... for i am a n00b at this sort of stuff....myuh... i am sooo tired... gomen for the crappiness.... failed attempt at fur.... i shall name him... Gwurf...(spelling- G-W-E-R-ifa) PH34R T3H CR4PP|N3ZZ!!!

Hey not bad, next time when making fur, try using a very low (5) opacity large dark hard-brush (i never use softbrush, it gives it a more cartoony effect and you never can fit details wtih a softbursh)), then slowly go to a smaller about 30% opacity with a hard light color to it (this should be the least tho)You can always clean up lines using an eraser :P

. . . .do wha-? i didn't know how to change the sizes of the brushes when i first got on, and i know now. heh heh! ( ; ;)~teari redid the whole thing, and the red and black marks are from the burn tool. the colors in the background is supposed to be fire (i took this idea from MK), and suggestions for more dogs/wolves would be helpful!
