(yeah, I've been gone from here for months and months...but, if you check my gallery, you'll see that I've actually drawn here before XD)

Anyway.

I'm currently in LURVE with thread and needle themes...and the colors purple, green, blue, and black XD (was drawing this completely an act of artistic gluttony? ~YES! But I'm not ashamed)

And....yes...the lines are pixely in places....I know.... XP

An hour and a half...my hand hurts like crazy...and I hate half the picture! XD (what was I thinking, trying to draw wings on a painter with no discernible ERASER tool? XP)

I was going to do something fun and gradient-y with the ugly wings, but dark and light wouldn't work unless light was lightening something light and dark was darkening something dark XD

I was in the hospital recently and on a restricted diet. Instead of flowers or magazines, my family brought me a fruit tree. It's called "Edible Arrangements". It was delicious...of course I shared with the nurses and staff. My fruit tree was quite a hit.

Sorry to hear you were in the hospital. Hope you are better now. We just had one of the fruit trees at work that one of our vendors sent us to thank us for a project we are working on. It was delicious... and such a great idea. Love the drawing, it makes me want some now.

Use the soft brush and set the sliders around the middle or a little less and you can blend it

By adding more yellows and whites to the gold it will look more like gold, put in sparklies for shiny. Try making his legs a little longer and the arms shorter and try the line tool to make a perfect pint.
