Hello. I hope this is up to standards for the intermediate board.
After working on this picture for so long, I can't subjectively tell if the concept is clear, (or if the coloring is working.)
Comment and constructive criticism is welcome.

First thing came to mind when I saw this was erector sets. Those old enough (real old :}) know what I'm talking bout. The more you bought the more special pieces you could get and make some real amazing things, with moving parts. Interactive fun.
So simple, but so good.

She is a lovely child. It's too bad she came into this world placed immediately under a microscope and scrutinized by all the vulture press out there. It's not her fault her daddy is so..... different.
Must say for someone so against psychiatry Cruise displays a lot of symptoms similiar to a psychosis.

Alan Rickman - Sense and Sensibility

I work with a mouse, and not a tablet, I have done this with a referance picture of Alan Rickman from the film Sense and Sensibility (1995), and I've done it because I love this actor, and I like to paint things I really care about. Personally I don't consider this sort of thing (a strict copy by hand) a very original or artistic product. But, I like to do them. I think I learn to "see" the colours, and might by doing these, maybe be able to do better original work later. Hope someone likes it. - Miranda

I dont know why everyone is so down on using a "photo reference"., If you draw from life.. the model is a "reference",, if you draw from memory the mental image is a "reference".. just me blowin off about it.. this looks good . I would like things a bit sharper but I'm a pain in the ass about that.
