I'm not happy with the proportions... - Otherwise, quite happy, yeah - face is verid, hands to big. But, i like it anyway.

I work with a mouse, and not a tablet, I have done this with a referance picture of Alan Rickman from the film Sense and Sensibility (1995), and I've done it because I love this actor, and I like to paint things I really care about. Personally I don't consider this sort of thing (a strict copy by hand) a very original or artistic product. But, I like to do them. I think I learn to "see" the colours, and might by doing these, maybe be able to do better original work later. Hope someone likes it. - Miranda

I dont know why everyone is so down on using a "photo reference"., If you draw from life.. the model is a "reference",, if you draw from memory the mental image is a "reference".. just me blowin off about it.. this looks good . I would like things a bit sharper but I'm a pain in the ass about that. |

Now this is a fun pic. One of my friends on DA had just posted some pictures of the "Bubbleman" running around laying these kind of big bubbles in the air. It's fun. Love this.

Holy SH*#T! That beret looks incredible! I used to wear a Maroon Beret when I was airborne. And you are dead on with the beret in this drawing.
