again, still just messing around with Lascaux and coloring/shading etc....I was messing around with the options in photobooth on my comp, and the 'comic' option inspired me to make this. i originally wasnt intending it to end up looking as shaded together as it does- i was actually going for more separated colors, but i guess that didn't really work out lol anyway this is a safety save cause I noticed one of my layers was glitchy :/ |

I would say this is an interesting style of representational art but if you were going for realism, you're way off. Personally, I like representational art with emphasis on personal style more than straight realism.

Agreed on the remarks about realism and the proportions. I was mostly just playing around and am not totally comfortable working on a screen. I can't block things out the same way I would on paper.

I think youve done good job, but for me i much prefer your friend with her glasses on, she looks much sexier.Im not massivly keen on so many piercings but what ever tickles her pickles.

Thanks very much everybody. I guess I have been drawing, but I usually throw most of it away, or I lose interest. Or I slowly work on them over months, like this one. And I only didn't do the glasses cos I was lazy, but really I don't think of her with glasses. And she has more piercings now, too, lol. It's too many for me too, but I watched her get them slowly over the years, so I barely notice them anymore. |

thanks Dave... and thanks Juno, I did it in all black and white first, with blend, then used orange and played around using the dodge and burn on low opacity and flow... then the blue green circles
