for some reason the red looks kinda weird to me.. like his hair.. if you watch the animation its a bit clearer..

after a second look, the hair doesnt look as clean and defined as the guy in front.. or maybe thats just my bad.. meah.. shutting up now.

they both look incredible, but i like the left one's expression a little more. Also, the dark haired man's hair looks a little gritty around the edges, although that's partly due to jpeg.

Also, I have noticed the detail change on the red hair one's hair... It looks like red is blurred more than the other coloures when compressed under jpeg. <:|

This one reminds me of Christopher Shy. I'm really happy how it turned out since it was only a doodle in the beginning and I had no clue how to make it interesting.

This looks like it should be an album cover for a death metal band, hehe. Definitely creepy, I like the slanted lines, it gives the picture a sense of movement.

lol, I've actually done this to quite a few of my portriat pics,especially the black and white ones.It's not hard to do once you get the basic face drawn.You just take the burn tool and start going over the eyes and mouth and stuff to give them a zombie or rottening feel to them.It's pretty fun to mess with :)...

I wasn't able to get the layer modes working (the procedual modes for layers, normal, screen, mulitply, ect). I use Java 140.02 with Web Start in IE 6.

What was the problem when you tried to use them? They work fine here in java 1.4.

When I was first working on the Image it simply didn't show the drop down menu. A little grey box appeared at the bottom of the applet that said "Java Applet Window", but I didn't get any layer options. The program also appeared to freeze up momentarily. I went back in and it now appears to work fine. It may have been weirdness from being left on over night.

mad_hatter: some people are using different skins, so if you could please use the [color] tag for single words rather than entire messages, it's better for everyone.
