IT's GAARA! it was going to be Lee, but thanks to the help of my best friend, whoa pointed out that it looked mre like gaara, he's slowly becoming Gaara. :) Hoorah! If you look closely, you can see the Lee's hair.. i hope this turns out nice ^^!

lol @ solve. nice try. that hair style came from Ranma 1/2 (the female one of course). the one from dirty pair doesn't really have ponytail though, right? lol[edit]I tricked you all! the face is actually from another picture reference. i just put together the hair of Ranma because I thought this person would kinda suit with the red hair. that's why the hair looks a little cartoony and the face more real.[/edit]

just shade and make sure that highlight on the eye is white. You draw nice smooth lines and actually colour in the lines, so you're fine in intermediate I think.

Jesus! Courtney, what the hell happened? She must have gave up heroin for Twinkies. Strange, it's actually kind of an improvement. I think she has an addiction problem or one might say an "addictive personality" and her current state is proof of that. She gave up the drugs for food, it's actually pretty sad, she needs help.Maybe done?
I'm renouncing backgrounds.

I'd draw the whole body first as as a sketch and perfect everything afterwards so you can be sure of the proportions and everything.also the nose shouldn't curbve out that far and it should eb closer to the mouth. Nice eye and shading on the face though.

The pose looks a bit awkward, unless this is a cowboy about to draw his gun or something. Even then the elbows would be flared out a bit more. Proportion-wise, I agree with Emma about the arms and I also think the crotch area is pretty high. It's hard to say much about what the proportions should be without knowing whether this is male or female, child or adult, though. You might try gestural drawings to come up with a more natural pose instead of starting out with the body outline.Cloxboy insists that anatomy is best learned with pencil (or pen?) and paper, however, so you might try sketching a pose out on paper a few times quickly until you find something that feels more natural.

Make sure you fill up all that empty space if you want this to stay on the intermediate board. It so did /not/ take that many hours. I had to go eat and I didn't want to waste space by going ahead and submitting. I'm not really sure how the whole space thing works yet. :/
