I think I now what you mean p3n. The top right corner could look <unfinished> . If i were to add more realism? to the clown it would detracted from the painterly effect<think mannerist> which I was going for. When I add to that <evil to ME> top right corner of abstract <sunshine?> it ruins the figure ground relationship of the black <smoke> (which on is achieving a effect I am satisfied with) which could be hair as well as smoke ( like sideshow bobs hair)

So what exactly would I work on? I am intreresed and defiantly up for suggestions =)

Its deffinately got a character or style to it, so yeah I wouldn't be dissapointed. Realism isn't easy, that's why it seems to get the most comments here I believe. Also I find that my physical drawing skills are much better than my computer drawing skills, so I'd say this is a good attempt.
The thing I like about this piece is the colors, because the pallete is limited, but varied my eye goes around the entire piece.

I'm so sorry for submitting this in it's current state, i just wanted to get some feedback/help on designing my mage character. I dont have a name for her, an outfit, a specific color scheme or anything, so whatever you come up with would help.

it's been ages since i've oekaki-ed..... o___o; i'm all rusty....not that i was very good to begin with >.<;;
