Theres something reeally weird about really bright beams of sunlight when the sun is setting. It's just really awkward to see something so bright when the sky is getting darker. This picture gives me a funny feeling. I like it.

the windows did not give me the feeling they were wet just really old
glass from before the 1920's kinda settals and given time the top becomes thin and the bottom gets thicker
my Nana has a 250 year old house in up state New York and many of the windows look like this

I'm liking the skin colour with the shade of lipstick--dramatic. Liquids are hard. Could I suggest that you might find it helpful to just draw a single drop of water on skin or some surface so that you can study how the highlight, shadow and transparency work together to give the effect you're after? It's tough to work on a portrait as complex as this and figure out a technique like drawing liquid at the same time--recipe for frustration.

I like the painterly brushstrokes you get with your skin tones.
