Think what you want, talk about ducks all you want, But I still don't care.
Its just a drawing. Calm down.
No need to rant on and on about the definition of 'Chibi', and how I draw things. It does not effect you, nor does it effect me much. Because honestly, I'm cracking up at the amount of detail your putting into something simple.

She's not naked, she's not defiling anything, and she is certainly not posing in a horrible manner. She's smiling, and waving.

You are the only one thinking of it in a horrible way, and therefore it is your responsibilty to accept your own thoughts.
Zack (Feb 4, 2006)
I am calm. The duck thing was an analogy to the way you're denying that this is a drawing of a kid.

The reason I pointed out the definition of "Chibi" is because you didn't seem to understand what the word actually means. I found it ironic that you were telling me that the difference between a child and the japanese word for child was "greatly."

My main point is that this picture looks like a child in a skimpy leather outfit, which I think is grossly inappropriate. If you're going to have a character dressed like that, go for an even more abstracted super-deformed style, or at least something that looks less like an adolescent.
chickenmonster2001 (Feb 5, 2006)
I can't say I will exactly apologize for drawing something. However, I can see where you may have been offended.

I'll tell you this now, so we can stop this debate: It was not my intention to create something that could get a reaction this great.

theres real depth in the grass at the foreground. lovely work, looks like a photo from a circular lens camera (if those exist, i think i mean concave/convex lens w/e)
Rinrinmaru (Feb 20, 2006)
thats a really cool pic liked much..
figure looks awesome..for the rest of the pic i can say the tree behind her coming infront of her some.. prolly cause of the light effect of leaves..
also loved grasses..
pretty cool perspective...

I like the pastel colors, especially pink. C:

You did great on this. His stuff always reminds me of N.C. Wyeth for some reason.
terracotta (edited Feb 12, 2006)
Love it. I got a Frazetta calendar couple weeks ago to use for some reference pics. I'm gonna try that one with the Egyptian woman, the slave, the pillar and the big kitty.
Zack (Feb 12, 2006)
Thanks!

Terracotta: Cool! I'll be looking forward to it, for sure.

I wondered when you would draw something new. You have such an imagination.
Alex-Cooper (Feb 12, 2006)
Those bastards and their icecream. They think I don't know the difference between Crisco and vanilla?! Bastards!
I like his skin teeth and long eyelashes. And the colors remind me of menstrual fluids. Which is good.
Renuar (Feb 12, 2006)
Nice form.
Looks as if it's been through allot.
