This one almost looks like sag or alvaro did it..with the lines..everything you draw would go in a faves folder if we had one
KuteDymples (Apr 18, 2007)
The lines...the lines! I love them. Also my favorite part about this is how his bottom lip looks. Awesome work!

this is so good Klox! looks like he's trying to get out of the box cuz it hurts him to be there.

to me, it reflects what's inside, the creature knows it's angst is coming from inside, but he holds his head because the frustration of knowing there's something better even deeper inside ( or where is it really ? and how does he get to it ) is maddening... but that's just my take
I really love when you add the hands too..
sweet_insanity (Apr 17, 2007)
God i just can't get enough of your stuff.
i feel so much of it it's almost disturbing.
infact i'm inlove with it so much if i were to see it at a gallery, i'd ask the price.
your style, your work is so great to me i could never get enough of it.
davincipoppalag (Apr 17, 2007)
I just like it

Last thing I remember was saying,
"Hey y'all, watch this." Next thing I know I'm walking toward this light
When a voice from out of nowhere asked this question.
"Garth, what did you love most in your past life?"
"Well," I said, "it had to be between cowgirls and horses."
And as I wondered which one that I would settle on,
The voice said, "May you be happy with your answer."
I said, "What answer?" He said, "Watch this." And I was gone.

Now I'm back as a cowgirl's saddle
Heaven on Earth for all eternity
Forever in between
Every cowboy's dream
Riding horses, holding rodeo queens

Sew me, show me, throw me in the pickup
Take me, break me, make me what you need
It's safe to say we're made for one another
And you'll never fall if you just stick with me

Fit me, sit me, get me how you want me
Wrap me, strap me, slap me on your steed
Can't believe I'm out here flying with an angel
Oh this afterlife's sure looking up for me

Loping, roping, hoping that you're happy
Racing, placing, chasing all your dreams
Makes me think if I'd lived life a little better
Would I've come back as a pair of cowgirl jeans

Every cowboy's dream
You know just what I mean
Riding horses, holding rodeo queens

Garth Brooks

Yes....Gladly. Patience is usually not one of my virtues, but for that I can wait as long as it takes. I thank you from the bottom of my heart just for the consideration. There were many pictures of her on her horse, but the one that the link takes you directly to is the one that I really like. It's entirely up to you though. Thanks again! You are such a sweetheart.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Apr 18, 2007)
hah... "NO, I'm NOT A SWEETHEART!" :D *stomps foot* ... I used to react that way when I was little, and so do my nieces, it's so funny. lol Don't call us nice, sweet, etc....just call me by my name, and I'll do whatever you ask. :)

I am only inspired by people who truly appreciate what I do. I have tried to do "art for money"... "art for recognition"...ain't happenin'... it only works when I'm inspired with a passion. If somebody's going to appreciate and love it and cherish it when I get it right, I'm willing to do my best with no return, which is all I have to offer. I'm not worried about keeping that promise, I understand fiery women and fiery horses... which is exactly what I saw in the link. That's one very beautiful, stubborn woman and one wild-eyed horse she has, there. :)
davincipoppalag (Apr 18, 2007)
I remember that picture...I dunno where it is either but i definately remember it. Yea..don't call Cindy nice.. cripes next thing you know she will be caring for orphaned birds and feeding stray cats... horrors!!!!
KuteDymples (May 2, 2007)
Yes, she is fiery all right, in fact her 23rd birthday is today and I have heard about if for the last week. She wants me to cook for her today, which of course I am going to, but since she is my youngest (and a spoiled child at that-well young woman now) Her horses are her life, I think she has 6 of them now. She has just recently started a dog breeding business also and does really well with that. But...I am sorry and will NEVER call you a Sweetheart again! LOL

Looks like the closeup of the lips of a silver screen actress. Joan Crawford or Bette Davis. Really nice and glossy Mal.

some of my earliest memories involve lying on the living room floor and watching star trek: tng with my mom and brother. it probably explains a lot.

worked a lot harder on this than i was planning to, but i had fun.

yeah we did that too and we would pretend to try and dodge the enterprise in the opening when it 'flew' toward the camera. Anyway this picture made me very happy :) awesome job.
Sweetcell (Apr 17, 2007)
Agreed, very much like you did it with a black pen on a sheet of printer paper (I do that a lot)

He was more stoic and serious than most Klingon's. Man needed to have more fun.
fleeting_memory (edited Apr 17, 2007)
haha yeah-but oh man-I love Micheal Dorn's voice :)

brenndurdrykkur (Apr 17, 2007)

lori (Apr 17, 2007)
thank you songie, bren.. I didn't really mean for it to be emotional, but I feel like that practically all the time, so you're prob'ly right Dave

Brought my wacom to work. Extremely bored with no customers. This one was fun to do. Use my own face for reference. I'm used to doing hair in photoshop so this was a real test. Don't know how I feel about the hair. Oh well...
