I know my dad is. He's kinda an artist himself and when people come over he brings out sketches he's done, when they ask to see mine too he get's....... very angry and broody the rest of the night.

I'm so glad I have this place. It's a luverly community.

I didn't comment on that one but it looks like a wooden puppet. Ah parents, whatever will we do with them?

For some reason I see part of a car engine made out of copper. :) However you want to look at it, it's cool. I think art that everyone sees something new and different in is the best kind, it's fun.

I've been wanting to draw gothic lolita for some time. Used a picture reference (Mana from Malice Mizer). Too bad my canvas wasn't large enough, and the proportions are a bit off..but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

This is cute but if I may the coloring seems a little off, especially the background. And their hands seem like they were an after thought (I know hands are difficult to draw) and their faces need a bit more work. If you need space just ask and I'll give it to you.

Only one comment? Too much spam pushing the good pics off the page. She looks like a woman who spent too much of her youth partying and just hangs out at bars hoping to recapture something, dissalusioned but desperate. You seem to capture emotions in your pieces, not just an image. I could never do that. :)

Curious to know what's in them? For a simple solid blocking this is well done, it feels like thick glass.

Mmm, it was vermouth (what's the the green bottle) and gin, so it technically was a martini, but it tasted really bad so we added olives. and more olives. And then I ate the olives and ignored the rest.

hummm, yuh. this is him, if you can recongnize him, pretty hard portrait i should say. Altough it is not complete and refined, i will leave it like that, just beacause i dont want this to ressemble the photo. Ah and by the way. computers are way too easy to use. i think drawing on paperi s the real deal, its easy to do a portrait, but how hard is it to remember proportions and get the hang of the human body, i could practice 3 hours a day i still would cry all night long cause i cant do what id like to do :P

I have to say the only real thing that makes computers easy to use is the undo button. You know how your sketching on paper, make a mistake and your hand automatically reaches for an un-do which is no-existent Well there's the erasure, but that's more delicate.

This is nicely done, has a watercolor feel to it. I know you weren't going for exact, but it's fairly close. His right eye's smaller than his left but it's a quibble. Which scene was this from?
