Well.....I'm finally posting this "pic" as "finished". I did more work on it, and I took "Cameo's" advice about changing the contents in the basket from flowers, to "wheat". I tried toning down the textures a little bit also. I hope it looks better now. I'm glad to be done with this draw...."lol"!!

Hi "MissDj".....Thank you very much for your nice comment......I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you like the "pic". I did kinda "over use" the texture tools though.....I'm trying to ease off on using so much texture from now on...."lol". Thanks again for commenting. :)

Native American mystical draw........I'm posting this as "finished"..... I'm pretty much satisfied with it now.....I still might try doing a little bit more work on it. The original painting that I used as a "ref" pic, was done by an artist by the name of Georgia Lesley, and I don't think she would mind me using one of her "pieces" as a ref pic..... when I saw this "pic"......I really liked it.....I love Native American" scenes, and I wanted to try to draw it. Well....my version of this "pic" cannot even begin to compare to the original version.....but I did my best, ......and as you can see.....I used the "texture tool again...."lol".

The doll I had was an American Girl doll. She was expenceve though. That was the best christmas I ever had. :)

We don't have any "American" dolls......just "Native American". I think we have about 10 Indian dolls in our collection, and I also have two "Asian" dolls. I like their costumes.....very pretty and colorful.

it's kinda from a ref of a bird but I ended up not looking at the ref. that much, mainly just felt like doodling.. I seem to need bigger canvases for my crappy eyes now

well I used to love real detailed art, and I still want to do it, but my eyes are bothered by real small things... I have reading glasses which don't help an awful lot, and I tend to look over them, not through them 'cause I'm stupid like that...plus I have some strabismus, one eye goes toward my nose some and if I relax my eyes, I see double :( I blame it on working on digital art 'cause I never had this problem years ago before I started doing that - but hey, what do I know - could be the meds I take too - thanks for the comments, and I'm not sure what kind of bird it is, only that it lives in Alaska
