Must draw ninjas.Hands are hard to draw. I kinda like how leathery-looking the jacket became. The background makes my eyes cry. |

Furyofroy actually drew a human?I don't get it. This is my way of trying to cope with this strange, confusing and awkward situation. Also, is it just me or does the pen tool behave differently in ShiPainter classic and advanced?

That's Duan Long from the chinese comic book/live-action TV series "Feng Yun Tian Xia", aka "Wind and Cloud", "Storm Riders" and a few other names I must've forgotten... I like this character. Because of his pride, he gets pushed down into the ground and is made to sweep floors, which explains the gorgeous engrish sentence in the picture. Then, with that same pride, he works hard to get back up again and take revenge against those who have wronged him.So... I wasn't sure what to do with this picture, so I played around with a lot of stuff. I took the character design from the TV show, changed it around a bit, made the colors weird, and so on... also experimented with shading. I think it looks pretty funky. |

Eeeee. It never turned out so well. Anyway, to the left, is Myraila, the Ruler of Cerulia, chiefly the Glacina Region. To the right, is her sister, Neptulia, who demands to stay as the carefree princess that she is. The head shapes and faces turned out horrible, I must say... Anyhow... I hope it's alright. It's meant to look like a framed photo or portrait.|EDIT| I keep looking at it, and thinking of the good things about it, but I might still delete it...And then learn more on headshapes. Curse you, head anatomy!

Same storyline, yes...Tried to make the head shapes more bearable... I keep seeing things wrong with them, but can't exactly pinpoint the problem...

Point I might add is that your images all seem to have a "stretched" thing going on with them. It's not just that the size of the canvas is taller than it is wide, but your characters heads are a bit large for their bodies, and they are skinny in general it seems. |

Mouse+Lineart= Crap! maybe ill fix. Those ARE plugs.....and theyre is a socket on the priest's forehead. Any suggestions to fix this? Im even open to a collab for someone to help me fix this. plus i suck at shi painter and am having the biggest fucking drawing block ever.... *sigh*

aah! zappo drew! (glomp) great concept, and i'd be willing to collab. i have a few collabs scheduled for the weekend. ^__^were you aiming for thick lineart or uber thin? maye you should try setting the pen tool to a lower opacity and retrace the lines. there's also the eraser smooth tool (one with green wrapper) that's good for fixing lineart. |

thought...that id make a better try at something....oh well...didnt turn out like the other one...cuz i got sidetracked with the skin color...kinda interesting....anyways....yeah...this is a lil better than the last one...gah....^_^

I just realized that when I was a little kid, I didn't notice even half as many bums as I do today. I wonder if children have some kind of filters in their eyes to protect them from seeing bad things?

Oh come on now.. That's not a bum.. You mistakened an innocent man drinking something for a bum? A real bum wouldn't have such clean clothes or a clean face.. probably even a mustache too. He looks like a well treated bum.I'm not understanding the background.. Where is he? The background is too rushed for me to tell, really.. P.S. On a brighter note, the shading was very well done. >:D

Yes. This is what we experts like to call a "Bum Lite". The Bum Lite usually has a home for sleeping and storing empty bottles, but spends most of the day drinking hard stuff on a bench somewhere.P.S. Now that I think of it, I have no idea where he is either. |
