I might go back and change this later... I tried to make the platypus as realistic as possible, after seeing some of the photograph-like work on this site, and I think it turned out alright. However, I'm largely dissatisfied with the balloons, and might completely redo them sometime.

Exactly, watercolor. Thank you. Before doing these two I had just come from setting up my watercolor table and paints specificly to do this bowl in watercolor, I plan to do it over and over with big bold strokes and clean bright colors, letting them bleed a little here and there...we'll see.

Very good colors,. Im too scared to choose such "radical" color... Meaning: Usually i stick to tones of one color or to more realistic colors,.. I still need to learn alot about combining colors,... Thanx for being an example!

Meandered into this one with no specific destination when I started. Not entirely unhappy with where it ended up, although I'm sure there are things I may have done differently had I had the image in my head from the start. I hope you enjoy it.
