Maybe not advanced material. It might have been back when I started this. The talent here has exploded.

its like it means nothing or it can mean eveything
shults (Feb 4, 2007)
I love it.
it's like a poem. Im sure that poets/writers didnt mean half the things people ascribe them, from analyzing their creations.
People can come up with many weird reasons for why you chose to put this tiny, bent man in the back of a man, walking in water etc. I dont think it really matters.
obviously, there is no way i could guess what this piece is going to be by looking at your first version. This is why i love it.
hideyourface (Feb 8, 2007)
im not really down with the textures, but the atmosphere and mood it creates is awesome. I especially like the clouds over the buildings a lott.

Deino (Jan 14, 2007)
EDIT: Ok, I found a use to this unfinished drawing... I'll explain althougt nobodyc ares! YAY!!!

Explanation starts here:
Every year, my school works on a play that at the end wil (Or will not, depending of a supervisor form a university) be presented in an actual theater. This year I comitted myself to the play n many ways:
Usualy, I along with a friend of mine (Who has an insane talent for drawing buildings) supervise and work on the scenary. This year's seems to be the best one we've done (Althougt I have admit: lLl the credit goes to Manuel, he made this amazing drawing we based the scenary off. I am just in charge of chosing and applying clors and the final details).
But also, this year, I am going to appear in the play D: I'm going to appear in the very end in a coreography I made with this Italian girl (Who is going to 'dance' with me). We are going to do cartwheels, walk on our hands, roll, and hurt ourselfs a lot. YAY! It is actually very exciting, because I've never appeared in a play. Appear, that is the word of the day.
And at last, I've been charged with the makeup. SO, I gotta design the appearance of several people, and specialy that one of my best friend. So, that is the purpose of this: Have a catalog for everyone to chose from . And also, came up with the actual designs :P
*Explanation ends here*

oo look what i found. so you're gonna put different make up on each?
Sweetcell (Feb 7, 2007)
Congrats on all fronts Deino. I helped in a theatre so I know what goes into making backdrops and props. My first impression when I saw this were store mannequins. I hope you tweak it just a bit more since you have space. As they say in the buisiness, break a leg. (though not literally.) :)
frootcake (Feb 7, 2007)
dude, how on earth did you use 2.3mb in 57mins? that's like an uber layer'd blur pic you gots there
marcello (Feb 7, 2007)
probably because it's a huge canvas.

I'm going to have to say it's finished because it's taking up way to much space.

The first time I went up the Calgary tower I was 6, and I looked out the window, freaked, and spent the next half and hour in the washroom throwing up.

-The compression horribly disfigured the background... oh well. The better one's in the animation.
