I cannot describe the mood that evokes from me as my eyes have the privilege to witness such a work. I sense that warm, dusky time of the day yet the crisp, salty ocean air hits me. Incredible.

It's nice but the arms ands hands look offscale to me, they look a bit on the large size. I could be wrong.

Nice sketch; yeah, "how did we get here?why?what happened,when we were headed the other direction,but Fate had other plans??" shit. I've known so many people, who said, "Gee, I was trying to go to landscaping business school, but the family got sick,and I had to quit school,and go to work to support my brothers."So, no landscaping, this poor guy is driving a crummy cab. And i did not want to tell him, just about the same thing happened to me,and most of the people I've known.

Let me tell you, start off with acrylic paint if you do. I did my first painting with oil, and it was a pain in the ass. Paint all over my hands, trying to clean brushes, it was a mess.

The thumb (hand's) bothers me, it looks flat compared to the rest of the hand.Otherwise, it's fantastic- you're using skin colors I wouldn't normally think of using, and you use them well.. and besides, it reminds me of the silky, moisty feeling of applying lotion on legs and feet.

Some of you may know a Dutch artist who used the name "Inevergiveup". She died on October 21st. I will miss her. She was a lovely person. There is a quote on her funeral announcement: One dies twice, I realize To cease to please and be lovable Is an unbearable death. To cease to be alive is easy. Voltaire Tess loved violin concertos, this one especially.

Enjoydotcom, you can read about Tess' illness here, on the first picture posted . She posted a picture and a poem and explained about having Meniere's Disease. She decided to end her life at the age of 52 after suffering unimaginably for more than 10 years with it. You can also see a collection of some of her work in the Upload Studio at that site.
