Finish or Not, this is fantastic. Of all your painting, I think this is at the top of my list as the coolest! I collect fantasy art cards and Frazetta is one of my favorites! Great job! ;o)
Whoa, niiiiiice! kinda reminds me of something in a movie I saw last night... oh wait, that was Elektra. k, nvm. But I do have a feeling that I've seen this from somewhere. hmm but this looks pretty cool tho. btw, I like how the birds in the background look faded as well as the horse because it puts more focus on the rider.
Cordelia, if you've ever seen the animated (and one of my personal favorite) fantasy movies called Fire and Ice by Ralph Bakshi (Frazetta collaborated on it because Bakshi based the movie on Frazetta's pictures) there's one scene where they borrowed this image. Very awesome picture (I think they used rotoscope) Plus it's just a well known image of Frazetta's. He is so amazing.
Oh now... this is a masterpeice! Of course the horse caught my attention, but you must know that proportionally the rider is perfect! Spectacular peice... very well done!
