Contest Week 67: Flight closed for judging
Your goal here will be to express the idea of flight. In fact, you could say I'd like for you to let your imaginations take flight. I'm hoping for a lot of creativity here because the word "flight" has just so many possible meanings, ways of being expressed, etc. From the dreams of ancient people to the realities of today and the designs for the future, flight is often a strangely natural and familiar concept for we flightless creatures who have flown higher than any bird. The rules are- -You can draw anything related to "flight" in any form of the word. It doesn't even have to be literal such as something that's flying, but drawing something literal is perfectly fine too. -Because this is very open ended and can be interpreted different ways, I'd like for the image descripion to say how the image relates to flight. Especially if the image is more abstract, because it'll help me better understand it. -Contest Week 64 will be open for entries for roughly 2 weeks starting from now until Saturday, December 22, at 11:59pm PST. That's midnight on Saturday for people on the US west coast. In other news- I'm living in Korea now so I'm in the KST time zone. I was going to make the contest still end at the same time they normally do at noon for the US west coast (PST), but noon in the US is actually late in the night for me and I wouldn't see any last minute memos until after the contest ended. That's why this contest is going to last until midnight PST, and probably all the future ones that I do too. Shanghai (edited Dec 10, 2007)
My parents have moved here, and for me it's going to be a period of time with no rent or bills and plenty of travel opportunities. Actually I have to travel whether I want to or not since I'm only on a 90 day visa and I have to leave/reenter the country every three months. There's going to be lots of ferry rides over to Japan for me. @_@
Maybe I'll get over to China too at some point. Maybe even to... Shanghai. o_o |

I'm gonna take a flight to Texas someday to see Cindy and we're gonna ride horses carrying guns and shooting snakes
I know... I'm not funny. it's not supposed to be, I just don't like 'em, they freak me out...one got loose in an old boyfriend's apartment in Fla. once, and I came back there and found the cage open, it was a python mind you... and it was in our freakin bed! |
