Kayos does nature??? This looks like that place we stashed the bodies..oh wait...I mean this looks just like a path in one of those Pacific Northwest rainforest places for sure.

I know a place here in Mexico City that looks like that. A sanctuary between chaos I call it. (Dave: SHHH, they are not meant to know our glorious plans yet :0)
Gorgeous picture, beautiful atmosphere.

Of course Kayos does nature. Youre pretty good at landscapes. I dont know if you wanted a mist/surreal look but I wish it wasent so blurry/foggy. I apologize if you intended/like it like that, just my personal thoughts. Overall a wonderful piece. Glad to see you drawing here more.

actualy solve I was going for a foggy hazy feel.. that said it can still be done better with more details in the foreground and more overall blur in the background... but for me nature details are hard.

My daughter was sitting here with me when I browsed, she is usually extremely critical of everything... and she said.. "wait!!! go back, I like that. She looked at it for a minute and then said "yes, I like that." Major compliment coming from her. I like it as well. Great job on the lighting... seems like it's right at that time when you know you only have a few minutes to get out of the woods before it's totally dark and you know the batteries in your flashlight are going to be dead just when you need it the most.

Congratulations again, Kayos! "A dark and hazy forest" is awarded first place for Contest Week 19: Landscapes. Your landscape creatively differs from the traditional rolling expanse and instills a mood of mystery and wonder via its great sense of depth and a well-chosen color palette.

Yay!!!!! Great job on the entry, and just as fine a job on the judging, in my opinion. Congratulations, kayos. :D
