He coded all of it this last weekend from friday to sunday for a competition, the crazy bastard. Did anyone like the music? :3

rikku: Do a file search for "troll hunter 20v003.zip" on your computer, it should turn up. Either that or dowload it again.

Troll Hunter is the shiz! I beat it first try :)! Try to beat my high score of 117,718! It is a testament to the game's goodness that I would actually play 10 levels of about the same thing. I can see that the game was rushed only in the level design. The gameplay itself is really cool! I don't know if it is flash or not, but newgrounds will host flash games. If it gets good ratings, you can gain some sort of internet popularity that is even beyond what you have already attained through your programming genious!

The fun parts of shooting games, head shots, were incorporated. You can also blow up their napalm juice backpack thinger. The hardest part is finding the little green bastards when there's 30 on your screen. The music was pleasant, Zack, and I remember thinking that it was likely you that wrote it. I guess I was too busy playing the game and shooting little men to notice it much (which is what you want in a game, I think), so I'll have to revisit it to give you a proper analysis/review of it!

I, myself, believing it to be one of the best flash games I have played to date, would rate it a 5/5 on newgrounds. Excellent job!

It is not a flash game, it was coded from scratch (well, not entirely from scratch, but certainly more from scratch than anything in flash) in C++. Heck, the source is included in that download so you can see what goes on behind the scenes to make a game like that work.

In any case, it won 1st for technical and genre, and 2nd for overall and graphical:
