Oh just in case you don't know, yesterday (and the day before) the Hindus were celebrating Thaipusam ^^. He's carrying a milk pot.

What is the celbration for? They do some interesting things.

Oh it's a tribute to one of the deities Lord Murugan. The devotees carry these large elaborate items on their backs. These things pierce through the skin, so they have to pray and meditate before they attempt it. If their faith is true, they're not hurt.

Ahhh. I believe I have seen things on TV about that. Guys with heavy things on hooks hanging from their skin and putting huge needles through their tongues and whatnot. I will stick with being a stay at home believer in traditional New England stuff.

wahahhaha... hinduism is an extremely beautiful religion. as are all religions. sayang, here has done an interesting work of art... altho... i think the forearms are looking kinda weird.... (wub)
