I thought it might be fun to show you how I've progressed with my drawing through the years. Below are links to sketches from 1992-2001. They're just sketches, nothing finished and most of them suck but I think you'll see the progression. I have over 60 sketch pads I could scan from but these are from the pads I could get to, most of them are stored away.

I drew a lot of cartoons and monsters in the beginning. I didn't take drawing seriously till I was about 16 years old. Included in these drawings is one of the first "Cloxboy" character drawings from 1998 when he was just called "Clox". The first Cloxboy I drew was in 1994, he was a super hero that looked like a lizard, that drawing is stored away somewhere and I'm too lazy to get it out. I think this is a fun idea, I'd love to see others share.

Wow, actually some of those old ones were pretty damned good. I think I saw some Giger influence in there, but maybe it's just me.

that is awewome. I especially like the '98 Clox one. Most of my early art is just scribbles in school notebooks. I used to draw characatures of the teachers or make up monsters. I never seriously drew until last May when I found youdraw. I think your idea is great and I'd also like to hear the background on all of the talented artists here on 2draw. For my art progression look right here at my early stuff. Also youdraw has an ongoing gallery by me under fin.

Great idea! I enjoyed looking at these..fun to watch the progress.. I like that 98 Clox one too, but my fave is the first 96 one. My early art is mostly scratched into the stall wall paint in bathrooms... next to the little "poems" like.."Here I sit in a misty vapor , the guy before me used all the paper" lol..

Always impressive Cloxboy, you never cease to amaze me. I am in utter jealousy of yon talent. ^_^ I really like the second 1996 drawing.

Great Idea, but They all look good to me.
I have been progressing really fast lately, I get better each month.
I look back at stuff I drew a year ago and I can't beleave how much I have improved.
But for a while I was doing 4 sketch pads a month. And I have way more sketch pads than u.
