Yeah it is but I only do that when drawing face though I probably could do it with out the math behind it.

Nah, you had a point there.. It's more accurate, but less free and calming.

Oh, and one more thing, if you wish to avoid the white lines, don't use the fill tool.
If you like them for whatever reason, then I'd recommend you not to use the fill tool and manually create the white lines.
