When i was younger i used to go trick or treating twice a year...i used to go a week before halloween and tell everybody i've had to come early because im going on holiday. Then i used to disguise myself differently on the night and go again.

That sounds like fun..we aways went trick or treating..I used to take my kids..but they feel like they are to old now ..so i throw them a big Halloween party every year instead...every guset has to bring candy and a one dollar cover charge..the money collected gets used as the prize for best costume...t'is fun...

I think you planted it there on purpose...just for the comedy of it.

Those heads are the coolest. How did you do the hair?
  icon
kejoco (Oct 2, 2009)
I bought a black wig, cut off pieces and glue gunned it to the top. I then trimmed all the excess hair below the glue line to give it a neat line

Those shrunken heads are awesome, I never would have thought of that! I like how the browning gives them a more natural look.

Halloween seems like such a fun holiday, but the rest of my family doesn't really care for it, so I've never been trick-or-treating or anything ]:

After they have browned and wrinkled sufficiently do you dip them in suger water to keep them preserved or anything?
I've just looked it up and people are saying you coat the apples with a concoction of lemon juice and salt before you start the calving.

Are there chicken bones, tied in the hair, in the last pic?
  icon
kejoco (Oct 4, 2009)
there are dried chicken bones tied into the hair...I actually made the shrunken heads into a necklace, there were chicken bones strung on the necklace too
