marcello, what about a sprite board.
And limit to 60 x 60 or something.
then let the user draw several frames, and wiht a java app, play the images in sequence ...

just an idea, even without animation a sprite board would be cool

This can be arranged. As for the applet, I can't modify how it works, but I can look into creating multiple edits as an animation...
It would require some reworking of the current system.

[edit]
Features that might be added in the future: ascii art/asciibbs (standard html form, plus possibly an applet later on), j2vecta (vector drawing, java 2 only), bbs3d (3d modelling), sprite designer lite
Of those, asciibbs is the easiest, since I don't have to write an applet, then bbs3d perhaps, because I've already started it. sprite designer lite and vecta2d (screenshot) are big maybes, considering they'd be written from scratch.
The question is where the interests lie... What would you most like to see next? Is there a want for asciibbs, or should I focus on improving the current site?

yeah the multiple edits in sequence was the idea i thought.

i think ascii,3d,and any more you can add would make it one of the best sites around for doing art.

what about also more persona loptions, like a showcase, where you can keep your best works.

Problem is sometimes your pictures get deleted, so your showcase would be missing art in a while :P

Anyway, keep doing your thang Marcello, we all love you man! This site ROCKS!!!!!!!!! Um...if anybody has comments on my crappy abstract pictures, please, fire away!
