dramatic. :) I agree with flubbles in that it definitely would have more impact on a bigger canvas, but it's still wonderful work.
firecracker (Feb 8, 2010)
very nice.....those clouds are awesome! :)
mursku (Feb 8, 2010)
thanks guys. i was just aiming to do quick 20-30 min landscape studies, so if i had had managed to draw this in under 30 minutes it wouldn't have been allowed on the other boards
davincipoppalag (Feb 9, 2010)
great job on the stormy moody clouds |

almost ready. just need to do some detail stuff, you know, make her a bit more shinier :Dreference was from here http://nudes.hegre-art.com/gallhit/101066/469/1/2/11 edit: i tried working on this for three more hours, but i couldn't get her torso to look right, it just got worse and worse. in the end i gave up. part of the reason was that i had gotten the proportions wrong. in photoshop it wouldn't have been a problem, i would just have used the free transform tool to move around and resize the body parts. but in oekaki i cannot do that. oh well, it just means that i will have be more careful next time :P
Miss_DJ (Feb 8, 2010)
lovely draw..love her shininess!

You can do a similar adjustment to what you mentioned re Photoshop in Chibi. Use the square selector tool on the area you want to change, then copy that and paste it to a new layer--maybe want to use Elly's suggestion for the smudge tool at that point because you can experiment now without ruining what you already have. Use the top right 'mover' tool to align your new reworked area, then merge down. I think she's lovely though not a fan of the shaved pudendum look, personally. Her foot looks a bit wide to me, otherwise I don't see any glaring errors in proportion. Gorgeous work on the skin tones and shine.
Suntan (edited Feb 8, 2010)
Very pretty and she looks chocolate dipped...the variation in color is lovely. Is her left nipple finished?..just doesn't look as defined as the right.

oo shiny. great stuff |

just wanted to draw something better for my avatar... My plan was to draw some beastman (from warhammer tabletop game) but even thought i had reference they all turned out horrible. none of the drawings were menacing enough! damn :( so i tried to draw an orc instead.. but they too turned out crappy. double damn! :P so i ended up drawing something simple in the end. ~30 min. edit: aaah! it doesn't look as good in the small scale as i imagined it would look. The hair strands that fall in front of the face make the face look a bit funky when its reduced to the size of 48x48 or 24x24 pixels :( its still a bit better than the last one, but i gotta make a new avatar someday soon :S
mursku (Feb 8, 2010)
thanks guys. :DRat - you can actually see the blood in the small picture?! you must have a bigger screen than me or a smaller resolution cause when its reduced to 48x48 pixels, i can only barely see some red on his chin :( firecracker - um no, hes no vampire, but if hes anything hes a male version of this character from this epic fantasy comic thats been plaguing my mind now for years to draw, but i've been too daunted (or lazy) to start a webcomic that looks like it would take a few hundred pages to finish.. and i would first have to learn how to draw environments. and clothes, im horrible at drawing clothes. the rest im sure i could fake.. but someday, i will do it!
davincipoppalag (Feb 8, 2010)
Creepy eyes.. nice
firecracker (Feb 8, 2010)
Well I hope you do that epic comic fantasy someday.......he would make a great character in a comic.....he's really cool looking......:)
TheCrusader (Aug 7, 2010)
Perhaps if his eyes were more lavender, he could be Drizzt from the R.A. Salvatore bookd. |

firecracker (Feb 7, 2010)
