Oh my God, I LOVE the tricks with the brushes, I didn't know you could make all of them (including the erasure) angle and change their rotation, I didn't know if you angled them a certain way you can get the effect of caligraphy, I really must read the wiki better. Clouds are so much easier now. Marcello you da bomb.Oh and the gradient is wonderful too. Ohhhh, I'm gonna have fun with this.

nice colouring...I have that problem sometimes too....its an anime thing I suppose the guys look girly sometimes you cant tell at all till you hear the voices...

Yeah Trinity Blood.............:DThats an awsome story, but every time I go to my local book store they alwasy seem to run out of that Manga so fast..........-_-! Everyone has one. You have one too. The little voice in your head that criticizes every brush stroke you make unless it's absolutely perfect by insane standards. Then afterwards, the voice that finds every singleflaw and irregularity in your completed work, and throws it in your face. A lot of this guy's dialogue is actually stuff that my inner art critic said to me while i was drawing this... Yeah..I'm not really comfortable with posting my cartoon characters here, since they're pretty simple in design, and everything on this site is so impressive in compare. But after some urging (and I'm sure they regret it now), I figured why the hell not. I wanted to do this for a while, anyway. This guy's Botj. He's a two foot tall nut demon. Despite the text, I really do like this entry. I just hope it doesnt get deleted off of intermediate for being too simple. I hope there's not a rule against profuse text.

My inner critic ALWAYS tells me I can do better, but thats good I reckon, because if it didn't I ( and other artists too) wouldn't get better. Basically you know that it's there inside you- it's just how to get it to come out. And one day something incredible happens and you are happy with what you have done, but not always. I love this because it's so true- it is what people feel. I salute you!

my wierd though on your inner art critic, is that when you fail to see whats wrong with your own art, is when you have stopped improving. I go through all sorts of random psycotic thoughts when i draw. This pick made me thing, and i luaghed when i read this becuse its so true to me as well. and dont be afraid and overwelmed by other peoples suff on here. there are some incredible artist on here, and its intimitating. Just post and have fun! :) |

Just a rough sketch of a sunset-like scene. I'm rather proud of how the water came out. :) The clouds look horrible, I know. I can't seem to draw them quite as well as I used to. ^^;

Vanilla sky sweet, the clouds just need some fluffing up but i kina like them the way they are though, the water looks very pretty too :)

Hi I'm new here, and this is my first drawing here. as well as my first try at Lascaux sketch. actually, i've never heard of it until i came here, so i wanted to try it. ^ ^ i think i did kinda bad.. well, this is my character, Yuki in his human form. actually, Snowball, but i don't know how to say snowball in Japanese..does anyone know? plus he actually has wings..but i was too lazy to draw them. XD i couldn't think of a bg..so i did..that. >.< so far, i think this place is pretty cool! :D

haha thanks. when i finished drawing, i thought he looked too much like Yuki Sohma, plus his name is Yuki, so i wouldn't be surprised that he would be confused with him. XD i guess he kinda looks like Kadaj, and also Danny Phantom. haha yeah. ^-^ but is wasn't like i was gonna go and change the whole thing. XD |
