dude, how could this not make it to the Showcase?? haven't seen one of these styles in a very, very long time! you did an excellent job, I knew instantly that it was Van Gogh. I like your take on this too because you didn't try to make it look exactly like it, and there's a blur in parts of it that makes it look softer compared to the orig. that has all the intricate details, which seem quite intense and sharp. But you still did great.

Somewhat painted style. Fairly simplistic but I liked it and didn't want to add anything to it. Yes those are like fins in a way on her arms LOL. :D

memory- He was agreeing with Dromophobic's first harsh self-criticism in saying that it sucked, but she changed that comment since. Basically, hide hates anything anime and considers it 'lower' than any other style. Like another certain asshole, he sometimes targets people and basically harrasses them via comments until he gets bored with it. I'm just waiting for the day he steps over the line instead of on it.

:/ if you don't like the comments, ignore them. everyones opinions are their own and you shouldn't get so upset over it. and just so you know, when you let the "assholes" know you're upset they will continue. if you ignore them and give them no attention 1. they will eiter stop or 2. you will just not care about it anymore.

dromophobic: this is great and I'm glad to see you working in a different style. practice practice practice and you'll be out of this world<3 and your char is how btw. :]

I know what you COULD do for a background...
sounds a bit wierd put, you could put cherry blossom trees behind him, but instead of them being pink, make them blue to bring out his eye color and contrast with his clothes and hair ^-^!
