These kinds of pictures, if I saw them in a gallery would make me stop and look at it closer and wonder what the artist was thinking or seeing when he drew it. I wouldn't wonder that the strokes are loose and messy, in fact it's what makes this picture interesting and alive. The boldness of the red drags you in and makes your eyes move around and see things that you would think wouldn't work (the blobs of paint, the simple strokes on the face, the disjointed body) and you feel somethings being conveyed here but your not sure what. I dunno, I'd say this is one of his better pieces because it makes me think. I imagine seeing this painted on a small wooden canvas.

I dont see how somone could think this is bad. Despite the large loose strokes, theres always those subtle bits of colour that really make the lighting stick out, like on the lips. I love this despite that oddly shaped head and lack of a neck.

This picture really is thought provoking. When I first saw it it struck me as being very cool but didn't really understand the story it was trying to tell until I just stared at for a few minutes to absorb everything. I THINK I know what it's supposed to mean but it probably is one of those that means something different to whoever looks at it. Every little part has some meaning. Very cool and wonderfully drawn.

it's like a poem. Im sure that poets/writers didnt mean half the things people ascribe them, from analyzing their creations.
People can come up with many weird reasons for why you chose to put this tiny, bent man in the back of a man, walking in water etc. I dont think it really matters.
obviously, there is no way i could guess what this piece is going to be by looking at your first version. This is why i love it.

im not really down with the textures, but the atmosphere and mood it creates is awesome. I especially like the clouds over the buildings a lott.

This is due to the fact Axil meditates in cycles of mind-blowing drugs every 48 hours. He is in a constant state of seeing; he is awake.

Only bad part is that his Sundays are always filled with the newspaper comic characters that pop out from here and there.

I hear him singing Wild Child and dragging glass across his chest. He was fucked up, but fun to watch.

i think the helmet doesn't really look symmetrical and its kind of messy, which takes away form the picture.

Just how well does Dan handle critisism? Actually I think it's pretty cool, even if I don't get into that sort of thing!

I really like how on the top above the eye on the right theres all those little dents in the metal. I'd like to see those in more detail. Also I forgot to mention how awesome the eyes look.

They fit in, I'm just saying--I don't like Grass ar Ice types..(except cacturne <333)

its nice. the lighting on the neck is a bit messed up though and the clothes look sort of angular.

nice drop shadow you've got going-the neck does look a little off with the lighting though.

ok I've seen this somehwere before here-I'm sure of it-maybe it was just something close-its like having dejavu but you cant figure out what the dejavu is-anyway its an awesome picture-props :)
