I was sitting on my porch this morning thinking about how to draw trees and i concluded that no matter how much i tried, I would not be able to paint a tree as beautiful or realistic as an actual tree. Then i began thinking that artists aren't restricted to drawing trees exactly as they are. Artists have a special gift. They are able to morph realism into fiction and create new and beautiful things. You can draw real looking pictures of things that could never ever happen in real life. That inspires me. |

In a time period of about 2 weeks, I found Artemis Fowl and have read the first 3 books and started the 4th a few hours ago. A little addicted? I think yes >w<.This is my personal vision of Arty <3 with his pale skin and raven hair |3. Not to mention the coin necklace from Holly~ I will finish this soon, most likely tomorrow sometime >>. I need to go to bed now.

OH ! I have read the first book :D It was very good. I'd like to read the other ones too, but I'm too lazy to go to the library.. :D:DBut but, this picture is AWESOMEEE! I like this very much so far ;D

normally I don't draw like this. I thought it would be nice to try. Maybe I'll use more patterns sometime, I kind of liked this. |

I would appreciate it if someone would add to this and perhaps clean it up a bit. I'm also having someone else add to this drawing in a separate collaboration on another website (a Photoshop collab). I'm trying to get 2 different takes on this, if anyone wants to take a crack at it, please say so in a comment below or memo me. You have to be at the intermediate level or higher to qualify for this collab, I only need one person. Thanks.
