All right. It's been awhile since I've drawn on here, but now I'm back and with a graphire3 tablet! It's not the best apple in the world, but if you look at it cross-eyed, it looks okay. XD Anyways, I did my best on the shading and shadow, but it still looks pretty sloppy. Also, something about the stem bothers me, but then again, drawing stems has never been my forte. Constructive comments are appreciated. =)

That's soooo cool!

Congratulations on getting a new tablet. It takes some time to get used to, eh?
JK-Arts (Oct 13, 2005)
I want a tablet so badly my free hand owns. The stuff i draw with the mouse is junk compaired to what i do on paper.

Each layer has a slice of some kind of citrus fruit on it. When combined these layers form a picture filled to the brim with citrus slices.

Whoo Hoo! It's finally done! It didn't come out as good as I wanted it to, but I was using a right-handed mouse and I was taught to use a mouse left-handed. But oh well. I hope you guys like it!
Cacau (Jan 19, 2005)
For me it turned out pretty good =D Can I eat the orange?

I'm finally getting used to drawing with a mouse. I need to work on my coloring, but I think it came out very well. My new icon! *snug*

Are you still using the line tool? :( Keep it up though. This one has a different feel than the seriousness of the others... I think.
You may want to try out Oekaki, it's very good too.
Animegirl250 (Nov 12, 2004)

try to use something other than a line tool next time... and just a suggestion.... the eyes are supposed to be much smaller than how you drew them in order to actually fit on the face... the other eye is missing, too... :P

Finished it up at school, but I think I made it look worse.

It still is barely discernable. Trying to pass as a sunset, as Ty said.

I'm going to get a tablet soon, so it'll be better. Little Yugi is depressed?

Although a tablet may help, you shouldn't blame your faults on a mouse.
Try using layers so your colors don't color over the lineart. Spending more time on art also allows you to make better pieces. In addition, you may add shading too add a bit of realism or depth. If you have any questions please memo me. I realize I'm not an amazing artist, but I can provide tips if you need them.

Also, try drawing with the pencil, airbrush, or pen (if you're using Oekaki Shi Painter) tools.

The most decent picture of Yami Yugi I've done with a mouse.

I'm unsure of if I'd like to see your other pictures. And I don't understand why everyone complains about drawing with a mouse. I do and it's fine. >>
Yuugi-chan (Oct 3, 2004)
well, I'm right handed, but I was taught to use a mouse left handed, which doesn't have very good coordination, so it comes out sloppy. All depends on what your used to.
