Everybodys doing this piece? It's nice to see how different artists interperate what they see and how they do it but... no hair?
marcello (May 5, 2006)

Well...wow..I don't know what to say about this really. I used a reference for this http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24864778/ . I almost cried when I started because I was so frustrated. (I'm such a baby.)
The lips are off, I know. >_> I'm way too tired to care.
(Used only one layer o_O)

C&C welcome. <33

Oooo. I love the way you've mixed the desaturated tones of the hat and her skin with the supersaturated colours of her lips, her kimono and the background. The hat is *ahem* well, dammit, amazing. Love the tension in the chin strap/skin and the way you've just managed to hide her eyes from the viewer...so we're always trying to peer up under the edge of the hat. Critiques? Hmmm. That gorgeous bouncelight underneath her chin makes me wish there was a tiny bit of shine on the skin of her cheek. But's that nitpicking. I love this.
comd (Mar 19, 2006)
It's insane how much subtle texture is in the skin here. I can't begin to imagine how to do this with lascaux sketch, and it'd still be incredible regardless of the medium.

Woah, big and well done. When you say autoportrait I'm guessing that means self portrait? (duh) You like monochromatic colors it seems, and know how to work with them.

@ Kloxboy, It is Turkish. Definetly not German or Swedish.

well, I have looked at many behinds over the last 45 yrs and have never seen butts that were stained except one who was so full of brown stuff that she died and the weirdest thing was she had holes all over her butt that each hole was filled with shit that had become so hard that it had turned to stone called fecalliths and I have treally seen shit come out of peoples mouths, that stuff really happens
enirroc (edited Mar 31, 2010)
A friend of my cousins had shit come out of his mouth because he messed up his insides by drinking too much, and was vomiting bile. It's gross, but I do feel bad for the guy.
lynnandcharlie (Mar 31, 2010)
it is gross, more so for the person going through it than for the people helping them
enirroc (Mar 31, 2010)
I'd imagine so.
