One idea Cameron. Very, very rough sketch. That's Trish coming to your rescue. :)
I can try another, let me know.

Setting to finished because I need the space. Cam can still color it later. At his leisure.

I'm not sure if this is painted well enough. I didn't know what to do with the background. This isn't quite Gir, maybe an alternate Gir. He doesn't have hands like that, the thing on his belly is more of a simple square, he had none on his legs, and I'm curious about that button on his chest Aaron, I don't ever recall him having that.

So anyway I made him angry Gir, the one that nearly took over when Zim re-programmed him. That would be the ONLY reason he'd waste an icecream. I'm done Aaron, you can set it to finished. Tankies for doing my Gir, even an alternate version.
psychofox0 (Jun 6, 2007)
lol, you know him really well, sweetcell. XD. I just drew him from memory, no reff. You did awesome as always. I'm so glad to callab with you. Alternate Gir it is. XD. and thankies Lore. I hope that we can callab soon too. X3.
Kloxboy (Jun 6, 2007)
Ha, that's cool. It has a 'doom' quality to it. :P Nice work Bar...er....B-wing and Psycho!
Sweetcell (Jun 6, 2007)
Hah, I knew you didn't use a ref. Sweeting, if you need a ref next time, well I have plenty in my gallery. You know that.;) Next time we collab I have this ideaer you might like.

ok, pretend like you're 8 years old and somebody scribbled and told you to make a picture out of it...if you'd like to participate, let me know, i'll add you as a collaborator and you may add a layer and create a drawing using the images/scribbles present. The next participant will hide your layer, and do their own interpretation of what they see in the scribbles, etc.... i guess till we run out of space. if you would like to, start your own scribble art and add others to keep it going.

DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 29, 2007)
WONDERFUL.... I think it's as much fun to see what people do with the scribbles as it is to make something out of them myself... thanks for sharing some of your imagination, mooki =]

I think it's finished, Barbara. What do you think? :)
The light was bad for the lighting in this pic. I think it's better without it.

Ok, I decided to work on her and the Gargoyle's and clean things up (Roy, don't be afraid to use more than one layer to color, we can always add more space) Forgot to add those things on top of the tower were flames/beacons, and that skull type thingy above the main door.

Overall fun, next time we collab I follow you. :)

We're done.
Punky (May 28, 2007)
Wow, this is super fantastic. The lineart and coloring work well together, it looks like a comic book or video game art.
Roytje (May 29, 2007)
Yes, very nice finish Sweetcell :)

fleeting_memory (Apr 22, 2007)
OH! fantastically colored DBA! I was afraid this was going to be left undone. *applause*
Sweetcell (May 12, 2007)
I had meant to comment when you were finished but so many pictures to look at and draw. He is boo-ti-ful hun, just a sweet sweet bear and seriously, your background is soooooo much better than the refs. It's so fun coloring aint it? Thanks for painting him, I say we do this again soon. Maybe..... TIGGER? My jumpy bumpy Tigger. :D

Just on a side note did you know Winni the Pooh was created after a real bear named by his owner after his home town? True story, a Canadian soldier in WW11 found an orphan cub and raised him and he became the mascot for his unit and he was taken with them over seas to London, but the soldier couldn't take care of him when his unit was called to duty so the London Zoo took him in and raised him. His story became known and the bear became famous, and one day an author brought his young son to see him and the boy fell in love with the bear so much, the author created a story revolving around this bear. The author of course was A.A. Milne, and his son Christopher, who Christopher Robin was named from. And the bear in the London Zoo that came across the ocean with his Canadian keeper was named after the Canadian soldier's home city, where the bear was found. The city was named Winnipeg, my home city, and Winni (Winnipeg) is one of our famoes exports.

Just a little FYI. :)

Thanks for the wonderful coloring job Fleeting, maybe next time I won't put in so much detail. But I am a detail pimp. :D
deathking (Jan 12, 2007)
This is beautiful and just for future references or comments the proper term for a japanese cartoon styled drawing is manga and anime is not the same thing like really i hate when people think that i mean is animation and comic the same thing no so there but anyways this was ment as a compliment and the coloring is very creative
Sweetcell (edited Jan 12, 2007)
Well DK I watch anime (sometimes) and never read a manga so all my known ref's are anime and will always be. Thank you.

Oh damn I just noticed this was put on intermediate not the collab board, stupid me, I'll have to ask them to move it. Sorry bout that.
