Puppy chewed through the cable on my Wacom so I no longer have a drawing tablet. I did, however, sign up with a life drawing group at a local art gallery. Starts next Tuesday, so, wish me luck. It's been a long time since I drew anything on...what's that stuff called again? Oh, yeah, paper!

This is excellent, I love the intense expression <3 and the texture on the skin, and the wave of the hair. I always have trouble with detail on hair. Very nice! |

It's all snowy and frozen outside so, even though I'm getting to be blind as a..thing that is very blind indeed, and my tablet doesn't work for shit anymore and the drawing programs are not jiving with Java (or something) I'm going to do some drawing anyway. Might as well, can't dance. |

The thumb (hand's) bothers me, it looks flat compared to the rest of the hand.Otherwise, it's fantastic- you're using skin colors I wouldn't normally think of using, and you use them well.. and besides, it reminds me of the silky, moisty feeling of applying lotion on legs and feet.

I am officially disgusted.... LOL Only out of jealousy. I can't draw hands OR feet very well and to see both here and done this well. ....I'm just gonna go sit in my corner and pout. ;) LOL Great Job!!!!!

I doubt I'll ever truly finish it so ... mark it as done. (If I have to I'll revise it later).Well ... foliage . I hate foliage ... Prepare for a messy background, definitely not my strong point ;) (as one can tell from the foreground ...)

Beautiful work!!! With such a stunning main subject I don't think the background matters so much, a fancy/detailed one might make it hard on the eye anyway. |

Amazing, so much like a classic oil painting. Such a cute little cherub too :)Okay,this painting is not finished; her butt is too big,now,on the left side,near the angel,and we did it too big; wow,we got carried away with flesh tones,and reflections of the blue set,on the flesh of the thigh; sigh.but,now her butt is too big.(ok,so is mine.)but notice,how this "classic style"painting,has incredible variations of flesh,reflection,and everything,that could be worked out forever.So i wrecked it that way,but this is a picture still "in progress."and a learning picture. NOT finished yet,if it ever is. :)(Too much yellow in the left thigh,and leg now,do it back like color of original body,towards pink,rose,dark reddish, ect.away from organge.)and the right leg is too dark,to make it go back.ugh. shit,how do I fuck it up best??? ha ha. no perfection,forget it, guys : O

I think it looks pretty cool now. I dig it HEAPS, but what's up w/Ruebenesqe chicks's nose & upper lip[She been try'n'to get a raise?] eeeww! And the cherib's nose is redder than W.C. Fields' veiny monster!! Heck, Look at 'er eyes !! shes Drunker than Dean Martin,Rodney Dangerfield, and Lindsey Lohan rolled together.. |
