Amazing textures, I can't imagine how painstaking that must have been. Well done.

He gives me the willies...seems like we should see more of his nose, like part of the other nostril. Scary looking man well done.

Good start. You should stretch the face vertically; John has a longer face.

I'm a John Lennon "fan".....and I definitely agree with "Rohcky"......you should stretch the face a little bit.....John does have a longer face.....but it's really a great looking draw.....it definitely looks like him.:)

Thanks for the advise, this is my second time doing a realistic style drawing...so still learning.

I moved the eye, I think that may have been why his face seemed fatter. Could be wrong though!

Hot damn! That's completely awesome.

That really is an old beauty! Older cars are the best. So much class and refinement and hardly any of them looked the same. Now they all come prepackaged with about as much imagination as you'll find in a cookie cutter. Great job, and great taste!

Well, I guess it turned out ok after all, wasn't sure it would in your earlier versions........NOT. As expected, just stunning. The reflections on the car are to die for, esp. the cobble stone. Not sure I like the make-up either. But otherwais........................wow wow owowowowowowoweeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

The hair is awesome, veyr nice portrait.
terracotta (Dec 27, 2005)
This is a real eye-catcher; the way you've done the backlighting on the hair is really nice and dramatic. If this were mine and I was going to rework it (not saying I think you should) I'd put some highlighting on the hair over her forehead to give it more dimension--it looks a bit flat. Also, underneath that part of the hair there is a shadow that makes the skin above her eye look indented. The shadow's there in the photo, it's just much lighter. I might try to make the eyeball look more rounded. The mouth and teeth are so well-done it looks like cut and paste! lol. Very nice job. (Hope you don't mind me making some suggestions.)

By all means, comment away. I would like to edit the picture, but I went over the alotted picture size and am too lazy to contact the admin to request more. I have touched up the picture using Painter IX and will post a link when I'm done. I will take all suggestions given here into consideration. Thanks for the comments/critiques.
