This is more of a test image using the JTablet plugin for Mac OS X. The flow is sorta choppy, but it's hardly noticable in line sketches. The next revision will test how it handles colours.

Thanks Marcello, for thinking about the people using a Mac :D

Edit: I lost the colour version. Since Safari doesn't like to cooperate when I try to relaunch the applet for the second time, I might not bother finishing it. The colours did come out blotchy, but then again, it might've in the Windows side too.

I didn't intend to labor over this one. It's done now. It's more of a study piece of solar flares. The reference pic can be found here.

Critique/Criticism will be used next time I attempt another solar flare study. Maybe next time I'll learn to make it look sharper.

That's very pretty. I like how smooth it is, and the angle.

Thanks Kloxboy :)

I hope I didn't break the limit again with this one :( That would be terribly embarrassing O_O

Edit: Yay! I actually gained more free space! :D I cleaned up the edges so it'd at least look a bit more final, in case I broke past the limit...Then it won't look so...unfinished :) Looks like I don't have to worry about that this time around.
LadyBlader (Dec 27, 2006)
That's absolutely amazing! Your colouring is perfect!

Inspired by a picture I found at CloneManga and A preview pic for one of the stories in 'City Limits'

I'm getting tired of seeing girls in these sort of things. I don't care if they're freak experiments or otherwise, why aren't guys being put into this sort of roles anymore? This isn't equality, it's matriarchy in the making.

Anyhoo, drawing this gives me another idea for a webcomic...but I'll hold off until I get my first one done (which hasn't even gone past the writing stage yet!).

I like lengthy typing, and I tend to do that quite a bit myself. :) Very nice picture.

Are women interested in seeing men naked? It seems to me that even a lot of women find women to be more beautiful subjects for art than men, and most don't seem to be comfortable admitting that they get any sort of arousal from seeing men naked (if they do actually get excited at all). I'm not sure why that is. I like naked women a lot. Whoopee!
hideyourface (Apr 2, 2006)
why? because it takes up space and its kind of annoying to have to scroll past all of it. Thats only me though.
Mifuyne (edited Apr 2, 2006)
hideyourface: Well, I apologize for my lengthy description. I forgot that the description shows up next to the image on the board, causing the cell to stretch...and not everyone has the same resolution as I do. I'll be more careful with the image description next time.

On that note, the lengthy part of the description has been replaced with a link to it.

comd: I find men as beautiful, if not moreso, than women. Maybe I say this because I truly am tired of looking at naked, or scantily clad women polluting the media. The fact that it seems not a lot of people can make men look beautiful with art might stem from the fact that people are too wrapped up with the idea that men are evil or something...Assuming that you paint what you "see" in your head and no what you see with your eyes.

Women do get aroused from seeing men naked, but they're too concerned for their self-image to admit it. If they say they do get aroused at looking at men naked, then they may be called a slut or a whore for it. It's the fact that current society is too judgemental for anyone to really admit to anything, thus they can't be true to themselves or they risk being criticized.

Is it really that hard to scroll?
NICE PIC!
Beatiful.

This is as far I'll let it go. I set it to 18+ because of nudity [even though it's blurred] and gore, but I don't think it's that bad.

Description...it's just like the title says. As to the type of slave, I'll leave that to your imagination ;)
I'm not great with environmental painting, so I decided the ground should take on a bit of a reflective property.

The dagger is a variation of "Poseidon's Blade"

This is one of the most beautiful things I've seen here today (first day, so I'm sure I've missed alot) You're very talented.

The population of Earth is trying to get away from the pollution on land. So they build their cities in these domes, supported on pillars. Maybe I'll figure out the physics of it...but not tonight.

I guess if I can't add more to it, then that's all there is to this image. I know it looks empty...my next one'll have more effort put into it.
Timberwolf (Dec 30, 2004)
i like it. its futuristic. the clouds sorta take the shape of th duck. i don't know weather u did that purposly or not its kinda cool. XD
mukumuku (Dec 30, 2004)
so great! i love the clouds
Mifuyne (Dec 31, 2004)
Yay! You love my clouds! I thought they didn't look convincing enough. I hate to say this, but I actually learned something from my drawing class. Not so much from painting...

The duck isn't incidental...in fact, I still can't see it O.o LOL
